January 11 to February 3, 2026

The Bedford Police Blotter for this period included a mix of weapons-related calls, thefts, threats, suspicious activity, property damage, fraud, and domestic or neighbor disputes.

Several notable calls involved reports of possible weapons, including gunshots heard near the Colony Club area on Lee Road South, a reported firearm displayed on Turney Road, a possible firearm shown near Broadway and Rockside, and a reported knife-related dispute on Union Street that officers later determined was verbal only.

Theft reports included stolen dealership vehicles, a missing dump trailer, stolen license plates, a stolen package, a phone charger theft, and a wallet reported missing during a personal dispute. A Broadway Avenue dealership also reported two stolen vehicles, described as a green Jeep Wrangler and a white Jeep Cherokee.

Officers also responded to several threats and harassment complaints involving neighbors, former partners, tenants, landlords, customers, and business disputes. In some cases, officers documented the complaint, advised the parties, or issued trespass warnings.

Other reports included a payroll diversion fraud attempt at a business, breaking-and-entering complaints on Turney Road and Union Street, suspicious activity at Hyundai of Bedford, tire damage on Turney Road, and a daycare-related assault complaint involving alleged handling of a child.

Two incidents resulted in arrests during this period, including one involving suspicious activity at a dealership where the driver had an outstanding warrant, and another involving a theft at a Broadway Avenue retail store.

Overall, the blotter shows police responding to routine community calls as well as more serious reports involving weapons, stolen vehicles, fraud, and property-related incidents.
